With the new year before us, RightToHike.org wishes to thank everyone for the outpouring of interest and support in the effort to keep public access to the greenbelt trails of Parcel B open for generations to come. We believe this access serves the community at large, by connecting neighbors and friends together on the trail. We ae working together toward a satisfactory resolution that permits the continued public access while respecting the adjacent homeowners.

At stake in this trial: 1. Continued public access to the Quarry-Veterans' Park trail; 2. Access to all other hiking trails across Parcel B; 3. Access to trails for owners with pets; 4. Restricted use hours; 5. Fencing and gate closures. Attend and show your support! More details here....

"For fifty-seven years, I have had the pleasure of living across the street from the greenbelt known as Parcel B, Huckleberry Ridge No. 1.  We residents of this east side of Herrmann have indeed been fortunate to have this wonderful natural hillside at our front doors all these years.  We use it, love it and appreciate it.  We have always understood it to be permanently protected open space."
